September 7, 2025...Blood Moon Eclipse

We're in some interesting astrological weather right now.

Today is the full moon of the month and the first of 2 eclipses.

Not astrology-related, it's also the month I always choose to focus on the end of the year. I like to prepare for the end of the year, wrapping things up, and the new year, new beginnings, now, in September. It gives me plenty of time to make adjustments and do some real analysis on what has happened and what I need to do to reach my goals and plan for next year.

But TODAY, we have an eclipse...of a full moon...a blood moon.

To me, that signals a couple of things

1/ A blood moon is RED, which means fire in the Feng Shui world. Fire amplifies when used correctly, and we use it in our fame, recognition, reputation, and rewards gua.

2/ An eclipse always provides a lights-out period, a dark period of confusion

3/ This eclipse of the blood moon is said to bring chaos because it stirs up the energy to see what's been working and what hasn't. This "darkness" actually provides understanding. The removal of light (even if only for a few minutes) forces us into a state of reflection. 

So, this makes me think - what's been working? What hasn't been working? Who is invited to stay in my life and who is asked to step aside? 

It kind of amazes me that this is all happening at once! Who and what get to remain in my life to boost how I'm seen by the world...not how I see myself, but how others see me, how I'm received, what is my reputation, how will I be rewarded and recognized for who and what I am?

Today is beautiful...even as I sit here in contemplation on a rainy morning. A grey, rainy day that ushers in a break from the heat...notice the theme?

And so I contemplate...

This eclipse is part of a storyline that began on September 17, 2024, continued on March 14, 2025 another piece of the puzzle falls into place later this month on the 21st. And even more pieces next year and into 2027. We are being asked to focus on HEALING and what it means to ALIGN WITH OUR CALLINGS. 

I look back and on September 17, 2024, I was in Zurich, living in a dreamlike state that filled my soul and expanded my heart and mind to learn how much more is out in the world. As it turns out, my astrocartography (which I only learned about in these past few months) shows me that my wealth line runs through Zurich... no wonder I felt expansive and luxurious while there! I lived in that energy for a little over a week...in fact, the day we were supposed to leave, our flight was canceled and the airline put us up in a hotel for an extra night. I knew in that moment that Zurich was not done with us; it had something wonderful to gift to us. We had a delicious dinner at a restaurant we had not had time to visit, we stopped into a gift shop where we had neglected to circle back and grab those last few surprise gifts for our son, and we strolled along the river with gelato in the sunshine. A proper goodbye, that was Zurich's gift to us.

March 14th of this year, we had just moved into our new home, burned our abundance checks to release our hopes and dreams for this chapter of our lives, scheduled some home repairs, and welcomed our son home for spring break. Our family was all together, and though we were all exhausted, we were surrounded by love, laughter, care, and happiness. It was beautiful.

So now I combine those two experiences...feeling exalted and luxurious, surrounded by family, love, joy, and care. Add this eclipse, a smidge of darkness that will highlight anything that needs to change or leave altogether to amplify those experiences from the previous dates. I say YES...and...

YES, thank you! I welcome anything and everything that will remove obstacles and align us with living our best and highest expression!
