Feng Shui for Money

I thought I'd take a moment to share a little tip to improve the way money flows into and through your life.

It's super simple...go to your front door, open it, step outside, take a deep breath, turn around, and, with your eyes closed, walk back into your house.

Stand there for a second. Take another breath and open your eyes.

What do you see?

What do you feel?

If you immediately see clutter or if you feel stressed...

Money gets stuck right there at the entrance of your life.

Think about what happens when you get your paycheck. Money comes into your account, and then what?

Typically, when money gets stuck at the entry of your life, you can't really remember where it goes or how it gets spent. You consciously know you pay your bills, but other than that, can you remember how else you spend your money?

Does it feel like money comes in and then suddenly disappears? Do you live paycheck to paycheck?

This gets reflected by the entrance to your home.

So, clean it up. Declutter. Dust. If you don't have an entry rug, get one.

The rug slows the energy down long enough for you to figure out where to go next.

Which brings me to the rest of your home...

If you can identify general themes of how you spend your money (ie, I spend all of my money on my family, on my kids, on entertainment, on vacations, on new projects that never seem to get finished (that's a whole other issue), on self-care, etc) but can't get much farther - as in "I spend my money on food and entertainment but never on self-care"...then it's time to head over to that gua to take a look at that space next.

Money (aka abundance) really does want to flow into your life to not just provide for you, but help you luxuriate in every way! It's up to us to clear the way and allow for that flow.

To that end, step 2...

Once you've discovered where money gets hung up in your life, it's time to identify your definition of SAFE. What does safety mean to you? How would you define it?

If you say something along the lines of "Safe means I'm alive", then money will do just that...keep you alive.

Now it's up to you. Do you want more? If you were to level up your definition of safe, what would that look like?

At this point, most people begin to identify what they don't want in their definition: "Safe means I don't have any worry, I have no financial stress, I have no pain, etc." I'm going to challenge you to define what you actually want instead of highlighting what you don't want.

Safe means I am carefree, experience financial freedom, buy things when I want to, support causes that feed my soul, am painfree and practice self-care constantly and consistently, etc.

What do you want?

What small changes can you make RIGHT NOW to incorporate this new life you are seeking?

The very second you commit to redefining safety, your life begins to change. The very moment you require more, the universe will show up to deliver.

It's up to you...and you can do this!
