Seriously, I can't be the only one out here feeling the pressure from the eclipse and the new moon on the same day.
Are you feeling uncomfortable?
I know I am. My body is tired. My legs feel like cement blocks. I'm crying for no reason. I'm getting headaches, craving foods, feeling completely dehydrated, and simply exhausted in all ways.
How are you doing right now?
This eclipse was a complete shift, ushering us into transformation. And while that sounds AMAZING (Right? I mean, who doesn't want their lives to change in all ways...so long as it's for the better?), it's daunting to have aspects come up that challenge us to see where we need to grow, who we need to let go, where we need to make moves, etc.
It's always easy when we think of what's on the other side of making changes - the beauty, the peace, the ease, the alignment in our day-to-day. But the getting there...that's a whole other beast entirely.
So, I'm hopping in here today to offer some "yeah, I'm right there with you" and some tips and tricks that are helping me get through.
1st
You are not alone. Like I said, I'm exhausted, my head goes in and out of aching, dizziness, and fogginess. My eyes feel like they're bulging out of my skull. I'm bloated, don't have an appetite, but am circling the kitchen like a shark looking for fuel. I want chocolate, but then I don't feel like eating it. I want salt, but am then very thirsty. I'm finicky to say the least. I want to walk, but my legs are heavy. I want to lift weights, but my neck feels tight. Any of this sound familiar?
I had a friend text to say she had a sudden revelation about her career path. She knows where she's been stuck and is mapping out her way to a new goal. She spent days annoyed, feeling the friction of her current trajectory, and then suddenly felt relief when a new idea hit her.
I have another friend who thought he was headed in 1 direction only to have it suddenly change. He was faced with confusion and (ugh) doubt. Now what? Where was he going to go from there?
There are so many more, but I think you get the gist, Reader. So, where are you feeling the contrast in your life? What's happened that is maybe stirring up some major fear and confusion?
2nd
Everything that is happening is:
One, NORMAL, and two, IN YOUR BEST INTEREST
I'm going to repeat that...
Everything that is happening right now is normal and in your best interest.
And the sooner you accept that, the sooner you're going to start feeling better.
Transformation is never supposed to be sunshine and unicorns. It's messy, gritty, and oftentimes has a snot-covered face with tears streaming down your cheeks. Change is hardly ever easy...unless you can accept that whatever is changing is literally in your best interest. Then, with that understanding, it is a smidge less overwhelming. At the very least, you have a mantra that can help you through to the other side.
That job you thought would be perfect, but you wound up not getting hired? There's a reason you weren't meant for that path...and that's in your best interest.
That person you just broke up with or walked away from...their exit is in your best interest.
Think back, I will bet that at some point you made a wish for something, and when you did, you felt it deeply, so strongly that your heart felt full, your longing was visceral. That vibration went out into the world and began to realign everything in your life to get you to that wish.
So, what was it? What was your wish? Because, believe me, the changes you are experiencing right now...they are getting you to that wish.
3rd
This eclipse, like I said, was a portal of transformation. Like hitting hyperdrive and trying to hang on, we're moving quickly, and it is uncomfortable. So what can we do?
Self-care
And what does that look like?
Whatever you need
If you need to slow down, slow down. If you need to sleep, go to bed. If you need to eat, go ahead and eat. If you need to walk in nature, get outdoors. If you need to listen to music, hit play.
And if you don't know what you need? Start by soaking your feet. Get a little Himalayan salt, Epsom salt, or Magnesium flakes and put together a little foot bath for yourself. If you have a tub, go soak your whole body for a while. Not only will this detoxify you, it will also replenish minerals in your body to help you calm and ground.
Then, drink a lot of water. Throw some fruit, cucumber, or cloves into it and drink. Replenish your body so your nervous system will calm down (cloves especially are wonderful for supporting the adrenal system).
Meditate, meditate some more, and then meditate again. Even a moment of quiet will do wonders for helping us all navigate these changing tides and help us to settle into our new journeys. AND when you settle into your new vibration, you do your part to help every single person on this planet settle into theirs.
I mean, come on, how awesome is that??
Just remember - the opposite is true as well. When we sit and fester in fear and doubt, we amplify that, replicate that vibration to every other person on this planet. So when you're watching the news, reading those headlines, and doom-scrolling on social media to gorge on the drama, you are replicating fear, scarcity, and negativity, literally amplifying and making it worse.
So, please, focus on you. Focus on your well-being and peace. Ignore the noise. I know it's tough, but we can do this. If something makes you feel antsy and irritated - let it go and turn your attention to something that makes you feel peaceful and calm.
Treat yourself with care and compassion.
We are aligning. We are ALL aligning with our new paths, so let's make this an amazing experience together!

YOU are ease
YOU are joy
YOU are love
YOU are care
YOU are hope
I am PEACE
I am EASE
I am JOY
I am LOVE
I am CARE
I am HOPE
